I'm so frustrated!!
I've started learning Japanese last year (Oct) at the start of the academic year, but i don't know enough Japanese yet. So when I'm watching Japanese dramas i can't really understand which is just killing me!!! I just really want to learn everything ASAP so i can watch without subtitles :(
On a completely unrelated note, I googled top Japanese actors and there were a few suggested lists. And after scrolling through them I can safely say, Japanese men aren't my cup of tea hahah. I think its just their dyed long hair that is quite a turn off not gonna lie. Okay like the most recent drama I've watched was 5 ji kara 9 ji made and I think the main actor is actually quite good looking, but he still looks way to feminine... he's prettier than i'll ever be! Like think thin defined lips and high cheekbones sigh.

But learning a language does take time and i just need to keep pushing through it!! I decided to learn Japanese after visiting Japan cause its just so cool and i've realised i really like asian languages!! I really regret not taking Mandarin seriously back in the day. I'm only now starting to realise what an advantage you have being able to speak more than one language - it really does open up opportunities! Anyway for why I like Asian languages more than european ones, its because you can practice the caligraphy and all to make it aesthetic but for like French German Spanish Italian, there's not much variation there other than some curls on top of alphabets. And also, I know some people will think its not very practical to express "I" in Mandarin with a character that has 7 strokes (我) or in Japanese which has 7 strokes as well (私). But there's so much beauty in the characters and where they originate from it just blows my mind everytime. I think bottom line i've just really really fallen in love with Japanese ahhhhhhh!!!
